It's Keith actually, believe it or not. Ned's first show with the Dead that year wasn't until 6/23/74, I'm almost certain.

Yes, I said that year (1974) 6/23 was his first. I realize he had sat in with the Dead prior to 1974. Thanks for the list though, and that interview looks pretty good!

I see that now, silly me...I fired up 07-21-74 and listened to 12 minutes of sea stones, apparently a lot of booing took place during these performances...

Hollywood Bowl. 95 degrees. Peyote and Tequila. That music was not pleasant then and it isn't now. Does anybody not press fast forward when listening to their tapes? Maybe that was the point?

Btw, the show is gonzo, especially the 2nd set.
